This holiday I listened to Ramit Sethi's book, "I will to teach you to be rich." And indeed, as the title suggests, it is a very American book with many bold statements :)
But still, this book is one of the most practical personal finance books you can read. It is no nonsense, real, practical and also: his tips don’t require much effort and behavioral change.
But what mainly resonates with me are Ramit Sethi’s core vision about money management. He describes them as follows:
- Spend extravagantly on the things you love, as long as you cut costs mercilessly on the things you don't.
- Focus on the Big Wins and don't worry about spending too much on coffee or desserts.
- Automate your savings and investment (Yes, soon with Flow! :)
- There is a limit to how much you can cut, but no limit to how much you can earn.
I like it!
Ps. To gather inspiration for Flow content marketing, I want to read as many personal finance books as I can.
Do you have any tips? Let me know. Thanks.
